MANAGEMENT
Mian Abdul Rauf Law Associates is headed by Mr. Mian Abdul Rauf, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan. He is a widely acclaimed legal professional having profound knowledge and expertise in the legal issues involved on Commercial, Civil, Constitutional, Criminal, Banking, International Commercial/Investment issues, HR, IRs, Labor and Services which distinguish him from his contemporaries and fellow lawyers. After his specialization in International Law and qualification in Administration of Civil Justice as well as in Criminals’ Psychology, he has been working as Consultant, Legal Advisor, Counsel and Advocate for leading businesses & commercial institutions. Because of his formidable repertoire in Commercial disputes and particularly in the arena of Corporate Finance and Banking, he bears the privilege of representing his clients in the Superior Courts across the Country on the said issues as well.
On January 9, 2015, he assumed the office of the first Advocate-General Islamabad pursuant to his appointment by the honorable President of Pakistan.The Government of Pakistan also assigned him the additional charge of the Prosecutor-General under the Protection of Pakistan Act primarily dealing with the prosecution of incorrigible terrorists raising arms against the State of Pakistan using the name of religion or sect. The said assignment of Prosecutor-General POPA continued till 15th July 2017 when the law (POPA) ceased to be operative on account of it being a sun-set legislation. He had also been the first Chairman of Islamabad Bar Council w.e.f. January 9, 2015 till March 13, 2018 and also headed the prosecution team of Islamabad in the Islamabad High Court and the Supreme Court of Pakistan. The honorable President of Pakistan had been pleased to accept his request for relieving him from the assignment of the Office of Advocate General Islamabad in March 2018 whereafter he resumed his private practice. He now retains the privilege of being Member of Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan for a period of three years w.e.f. 6th December, 2018.
